Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Doomwalk iOS app and related website. By using Doomwalk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Doomwalk does
Doomwalk is a general wellbeing and self-control tool. It uses Apple device permissions to help you manage selected apps while you walk. It is not medical advice, medical treatment, a safety service, or a medical device. Do not use it while driving, cycling in traffic, or in any situation where attention to your surroundings is required.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for choosing appropriate apps, reviewing permissions, keeping your device and iOS up to date, and using the app safely. You must not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of law or another person’s rights.
Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions, if offered, are purchased through Apple’s App Store. The price, billing period, trial terms, and renewal terms will be shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings. Apple manages billing, refunds, and cancellation according to its policies. We do not control Apple’s payment systems.
Availability and changes
Features depend on iOS, Apple frameworks, device permissions, and the availability of selected apps. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, including subscription features, where reasonably necessary. We will not remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Intellectual property
Doomwalk and its original content belong to Tarik Thomas or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app while you comply with these terms.
Disclaimers and limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doomwalk is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every device or purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies consumer guarantees, warranties, or rights that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or modified, including rights under Australian Consumer Law and applicable US law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the remedies required by applicable law and, where lawful, the amount paid for the relevant subscription period.
Termination
You may stop using Doomwalk and delete it at any time. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or address misuse. Subscription cancellation is handled through Apple.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, except where mandatory consumer law in your place of residence applies. Nothing here prevents you from relying on non-waivable rights in your country or state.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms by posting a new version here. Contact Tarik Thomas at tarik@doomwalk.com.
