Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Tarik Thomas ("Doomwalk", "we", "us") handles information in the Doomwalk iOS app and this website.
What Doomwalk accesses
With your permission, the app uses Apple Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks to let you choose apps and categories to manage. Apple provides Doomwalk with privacy-preserving selection tokens; Doomwalk does not receive the names or contents of the apps you select.
During a walk you start, Doomwalk may use motion and fitness signals, pedometer information, and location signals to determine whether you are walking, calculate session distance, and apply or remove app shields. Location is used only for an active session and the app does not store a detailed route. You can withdraw permission in iOS Settings, although features may stop working.
Information stored on your device
Doomwalk stores preferences, selected-app tokens, permission-related state, and a limited history of your walking sessions locally on your device and its app group. The app currently stores up to 100 session summaries. You can clear session history in the app. Doomwalk does not operate user accounts or a remote profile database.
Information we receive
Based on the current app design, Doomwalk does not send your location, motion data, selected-app tokens, or session history to us. We do not currently use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking. The app may create local diagnostic logs used to operate and troubleshoot the app.
Subscriptions and Apple
If Premium subscriptions are enabled, Apple processes payment and subscription management. We receive subscription status from Apple’s StoreKit systems as needed to unlock the purchased features. Apple’s handling of payment information is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy; we do not receive your full payment card details.
This website
This website is a static information site hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical request information such as an IP address to deliver and secure the site. We do not add advertising or analytics to this site.
Children
Doomwalk is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can address it.
Your choices and rights
You can change iOS permissions, clear local history, stop an active walk, or delete the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing. We will respond as required by applicable law. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app or law changes. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
